PORT ANGELES — The Olympic Peninsula Humane Society will be the beneficiary of a jewelry and chocolate sale at Olympic Cellars, 255410 U.S. Highway 101, from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Jewelry designed by Holly Zhang, whose shop is located at The Bravern in Bellevue, will be on display, as well as artisan chocolates by DeNovo Chocolates, also of Bellevue.
In addition, guests are encouraged to bring their gently used costume jewelry as a donation.
The jewelry is sold at Imagine That!, a bead shop in Poulsbo.
All of the proceeds from the sales will be donated to the Humane Society.

Whitten elected to hospital auxiliaries association post
PORT ANGELES — Olympic Medical Center Auxiliary President Bill Whitten was recently elected vice president of the Washington State Association of Hospital Auxiliaries.
The association’s membership is open to all hospital auxiliaries and guilds in the state and provides a forum for support and to exchange ideas.
As vice president, Whitten is responsible for planning the association’s 2015 state conference in Leavenworth next September.
