The North Olympic Library System has announced the resumption of Books and Cookies at West End libraries.
The free program for fifth- and sixth-grade students features cookies, book conversations and hands-on activities.
The program meets from October through May.
Books and Cookies meets at 2:45 p.m. the first Thursday of each month, starting Oct.3, at the Clallam Bay Library, 16690 state Highway 112, Clallam Bay.
It also meets at 3:30 p.m. the first Friday of each month, beginning Oct. 4, at the Forks Library, 171 S. Forks Ave.
