PORT ANGELES — An early morning attic fire has made a single-family residence uninhabitable until repairs can be made.
No one was in the building when the firefighters were dispatched at 3:55 a.m. Saturday to the residence at 822 E. Second St. in Port Angeles, according to the Port Angeles Fire Department.
The fire was extinguished quickly, department personnel said. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
The estimate of damage to the property and loss of contents are to be determined by claims adjuster, building official or fire marshal.
