Shred event to benefit Back to School Fair

PORT ANGELES — Lutheran Community Services and the Port Angeles School District will conduct a paper shredding fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

The collection truck will be parked at the State Farm Insurance office, 611 E. Front St. Attendees are asked to enter from the alley off Albert Street.

The suggested donation of $10 for three grocery bags of paper will be used to buy school supplies for the annual Back to School Fair in August.

The fundraiser is co-sponsored by State Farm — Steve Methner, Sound Community Bank and the Port Angeles Kiwanis Club.
