Rosh HaShanah observances slated on the Peninsula

PORT ANGELES — The Olympic B’nai Shalom congregation will observe Rosh HaShanah this week.

Erev Rosh HaShanah service will be at 7:15 p.m. tonight at the Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 1033 N. Barr Road.

Rosh HaShanah sunrise service will be at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday at the City Pier, 315 N. Lincoln St. in Port Angeles.

Morning Torah service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.

Tashlich will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Railroad Bridge Park, 2151 W. Hendrickson Road, Sequim.

All attendees must comply with the following COVID-19 protocols:

• Attendees are encouraged to be fully vaccinated and boosted and to self-test prior to each service.

• Mask wear is encouraged while inside, except while eating; unvaccinated attendees must wear masks.

• Masks will be provided by the congregation.

• Persons with respiratory symptoms should refrain from attending.

• Weather permitting, services may be conducted outside in the fellowship’s memorial garden.
