Port Townsend Public Library to offer craft kits

PORT TOWNSEND — The Port Townsend Public Library will distribute craft kits for pre-school and elementary children on Tuesdays weekly.

Preschool craft kits are recommended for ages 2- through 6-years and include coffee filter flowers, handmade postcards and stained-glass art.

Elementary craft kits are recommended for ages 7- through 10-years and include origami, colorful mosaics and handmade cards.

Teen craft kits, available the weeks of Sept. 28, Oct. 26 and Nov. 30, are recommended for ages 11- through 18-years and include origami, collage and paper weaving.

The library will also distribute spice kits during the weeks of Sept. 14, Oct. 12 and Nov. 9 to help adults learn how to incorporate various spices into their cooking.

Each kit will be available as long as supplies last.
