Monthly death cafes scheduled

PORT ANGELES — Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County will host monthly death cafes “Tea to Die For” in Sequim and Port Angeles.

The cafes, which are meant to foster relaxed and informal discussions about death and dying, are open to anyone apprehensive, or curious, about death.

The Sequim discussions will begin at 4 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 8, and will recur on the second Monday of each month in the community room at KSQM-FM, 609 W. Washington St., unit 17, Sequim.

The Port Angeles conversations are at 4 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month, beginning Aug. 24, in the craft room at the Senior and Community Center, 328 E. Seventh St., Port Angeles.

Tea, coffee and cookies will be served at the free meetings.
