PORT TOWNSEND — The Friends of Fort Worden will celebrate its 30th anniversary from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.
The Friends’ annual meeting is at the Commons, 200 Battery Way. They have not met since 2019.
The party will include a presentation on the seabirds of Admiralty Inlet from Dennis Paulson.
Paulson was the director of the University of Puget Sound’s Slater Museum of Natural History for 15 years.
He is also the author of “Exotic Birds, Shorebirds of the Pacific Northwest,” “Shorebirds of North America: The Photographic Guide,” “Birds of the Puget Sound Region: Coast to Cascades” and “Field Guide to the Birds of Washington.”
There will be appetizers and a cash bar.
