Final service set for Clallam Bay church

CLALLAM BAY — The Clallam Bay Presbyterian Church is inviting the public to its final service at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 25.

The church, located at 15 Eighth St., is closing after 107 years due to declining membership.

The Presbyterian church closest to Clallam Bay is First Presbyterian of Port Angeles.

The Rev. Bruce Cook will officiate assisted by the Rev. Pamela Hunter, the Rev. Carol McLaughlin, Laura Teraski and readings by Diane Bates.

The church was formed in 1916, under the leadership of the Rev. O. R. McMillan.

There will be a reception in the fellowship hall following the service.
