Empower series talks living alone

PORT ANGELES — Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County will offer its Empower Yourself: Practical Tools for Living Alone workshop series beginning at 1 p.m. Thursday.

The free workshops are designed to assist people in dealing with the everyday challenges of living alone.

The two-hour weekly workshops include:

• Home and Automotive Maintenance on Oct. 19.

• Shopping and Cooking for One on Oct. 26.

• Household Finances on Nov. 2.

• Taking Care of Yourself on Nov. 9.

Attendees may attend any of the sessions or all four.
