Easter services set for Trinity United Methodist

SEQUIM — Trinity United Methodist Church has announced its schedule of services for Easter week.

• Maundy Thursday, service at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 6, will feature a reading of “The Passion According to Mark” featuring readers who will take the roles of people in Chapters 14 and 15 of the Gospel of Mark, with two narrators providing context. The Rev. Desi Larson will officiate at Communion.

• Good Friday, a period of silent meditation starting at 1 p.m. Friday, April 7, will commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus; Pauline Olsen will provide organ music.

• Easter Sunday, 10 a.m. Sunday, April 9, celebration of the resurrection through the sermon by Larson and musical selections from the Trinity Singers choir.

All services are at Trinity United, 100 S. Blake Ave.
