Dessert, quilt auction to benefit Peninsula granges

SEQUIM — The Sequim Prairie Grange will host an all-grange dessert and quilt auction from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The auction will take place in the Glenda Clark Outdoor Kitchen at Macleay Hall, 290 Macleay Road.

Quilts have been donated by Karen Grimsley in memory of her deceased husband. The proceeds of their sale will benefit the Sequim Prairie Grange.

Proceeds of the dessert sales will benefit the Quimper, Chimacum, Quillayute, Crescent, Dry Creek, Fairview and Sequim Prairie granges.

Anyone wishing to donate a homemade dessert for the auction may drop it off at the grange between 10 a.m. and noon Saturday.
