Class of 1952 holds 70th class reunion

The Roosevelt High School (Port Angeles High School) Class of 1952 held their 70th class reunion recently at the home of Fred Sullivan in Port Angeles. The class went to school in a building where the present day City Hall now sits. It was called Roosevelt High School then. The current high school on Park Ave. was built the next year. Only 15 were able to attend from a class of more than 160 back in 1952. Each of the classmates are around 88 years old. Front row, from left: Merle Bailey, Gwen Fairchild Potterfield and John Rife.
