Carols, Dickens among attractions this weekend

Holiday songs are among the traditions offered this weekend on the North Olympic Peninsula.

The Peninsula Men’s Gospel Singers will perform Christmas carols at 7 tonight.

The free program will be at First Presbyterian Church, 139 W. Eighth St., Port Angeles. Donations will be accepted.

The program will include an arrangement of the Nutcracker Suite, several well-known carols for everyone to sing, and some original music that captures the wonder of the Savior’s birth. The concert will end with all participants having an opportunity to join professional soloists Eric Schneider and Dan Cobb, two members of the gospel singers, in a singalong version of “O Holy Night.”
