In response to the letter “Wide Divide” in the Nov. 29 PDN, the writer sees “conservatives are not the ones throwing bricks.”
I would like to say, as a former Republican who did not vote for Trump, I was called libtard, snowflake, baby killer and socialist.
So welcome to the real world.
You need to take some responsibility for your side, friend.
You also state that you are “frustrated by the ruling elite whose laws are for you and not for me.”
These past four years have displayed what money really can buy.
An Attorney General who sides with an elected official instead of our Constitution.
White Supremacists such as the Proud Boys, Bugaloo Boys nd other racists inciting ethnic warfare — but there were fine people on both sides.
You quote convenient scripture like John 8:5, “Let him who is without sin cast the first stone” but forget the scripture of James, 1:27 “Religion that God, our Father, accepts as pure and faultless is this; to look after the orphan and widows in their distress.”
Yet your brand of conservatism took thousands of children from parents at the border, including nursing babies.
These people came to our borders to find help in their distress.
You blame others for calling you a fascist?
You think the other side are elitist?
You and your brand of conservatism should not invoke the words of Jesus.
You stand in mortal peril when you can’t see your own fault in this.
