LETTER: Thinks The Associated Press is biased

For entertainment, I enjoy finding little nuggets of biased reporting, hidden in the national news on the Second Front Page of the PDN.

Like navigating a minefield, I relish spotting the deceptive work of the nation’s news distributors, like the Associated Press.

These marvelous gems might go undiscovered by the average reader, but to my delight, leap off the page, giving me a chuckle to accompany my breakfast cereal.

However, the article, “Trump digs deeper into nation’s divisions” (PDN, July 5) was the largest collection of twisted, self-serving tripe I have ever read in a credible newspaper.

It was not the usual stealth piece, written by crafty, hypocritical journalists, who attempt to sway public opinion by removing coherent context.

No, it was a joyless pile of steaming, meaningless excrement, not worthy of printing in your newspaper.

Honestly, I feel the editors of the PDN are skilled enough to discern the difference between news and political bashing.

So, please give us national news, but if it is painfully biased nonsense, send it to the commentary page.

I want my gleeful search for nuance and well hidden bias clues returned to my morning read.
