LETTER: Need to tell all sides of the story

I get it that the PDN actively reports social issues, and that the majority of the PDN letter writers actively dislike President Donald Trump.

Your Jan. 28 issue graphically proves this point.

I do not like today’s opinion journalists, who are predominantly anti-conservatives, and I especially do not like a paper that actively supports one side of opinion issues at the expense of the other side, which is the point of this letter.

In the issue of the Jamestown MAT center proposed for and all but built in Sequim, what is not given equal exposure is the effect of this center on several hundred homeowners in Sequim, whose property I think may be devalued.

And I think that businesses in Sequim fear that business and property taxes will increase to pay for facilities such as the MAT center.

The Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe has lots of land outside of the Sequim city limits.

Why can they not use that land?

Why are the Sequim City Council members not protecting the rights and property of the citizens of Sequim?

The letter titled “New Normal” is another aggravating issue.

It repeated most of the talking points of the Democrat impeachment managers without any reliance on facts.

But the one amusing thing in the letter was the assertion that Trump has a lock on telling the most lies.

As though he is the only president who ever told a lie.

I can think of and list lies told by previous presidents, including the darlings of the left, Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.
