Trinity musicians to perform at Candlelight Concert series

PORT TOWNSEND — The musicians of Trinity United Methodist Church will present a Christmas Concert at 7 p.m. Thursday.

The free in-person concert at 609 Taylor St. in Port Townsend will also be streamed live at https://trinityumcpt.org/concerts, where participants can find a link for the Candlelight Concerts online and ways to donate.

The concert will also be simulcast on KPTZ FM 91.9.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Masks are encouraged for in-person attendees.

There is a suggested donation of $15 per person. Half of the proceeds will be donated to St. Vincent DePaul of East Jefferson County, which responds to the emergency needs of individuals and families in the community.

The musicians will present a wide range of carols from Gregorian to current favorites performed on two pipe organs, piano, harpsichord and a virginal alone or in combination.

The Trinity Chancel Choir and Trinity Bell Choir will also share their music.

In the final portion of the concert, everyone will be invited to sing carols with the organs and keyboards.

There also will be a reception following the performance.
