SEQUIM — Sequim Pride will host its Pride Celebration from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
The annual event will be at the Sequim Farmers and Artisans Market in the plaza in front of the civic center, 152 W. Cedar St., Sequim.
Jaiden Dokken, Clallam County’s first poet laureate, will serve as grand marshal.
Speakers at a noon ceremony will include local elected officials, Sequim Pride volunteers, partners from the Sequim Farmers and Artisans Market and members of the Gender-Sexuality Alliance at Sequim High School.
The Pride Parade, a family-friendly event, will march down Washington Street and circle back to the Farmers Market following the ceremony.
After the parade, the celebration will continue with Pride Market Day.
