NOLS book discussion groups

PORT ANGELES — The North Olympic Library System will host book discussions in person and online this month.

• The Second Saturday Book Discussion Group will meet at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at the Sequim Branch Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.

The group will discuss “Less” by Andrew Sean Greer.

Paperback copies are available for pickup at the Sequim Library.

The group will discuss “The Sentence” by Louise Erdrich in July.

• The Second Tuesday Book Discussion Group will meet online at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, to discuss “Etta and Otto and Russell and James” by Emma Hooper.

Paperback copies are available for pickup at the Port Angeles Library.

In July, the group will discuss “Angle of Repose” by Wallace Stegner.

• The Novel Conversations Book Discussion Group is set to meet online at 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, to talk about “Before We Were Yours” by Lisa Wingate.

Paperback copies are available for pickup at the Sequim Library.

The group plans to discuss “The Elegance of the Hedgehog” by Muriel Barbery in July.

• The Wednesday Evening Book Discussion Group will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, in the Carver Room at the Port Angeles Main Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., Port Angeles.

The group will discuss “Real Life” by Brandon Taylor; paperback copies are available for pickup at the Port Angeles Library.

Its July selection is “Entangled Life” by Merlin Sheldrake.

Registration, at www.nols.org, is required to join the online meetings and is recommended for the in-person discussions.
