SEQUIM — The Genealogical Society of Clallam County will host an all-day seminar Saturday that features Mary Kathyrn Kozy, genealogist, speaker and researcher.
She will present four one-hour sessions.
Her topics include preparation for a productive research trip, how social media will open new doors to family history and instruction on using the Familysearch Wiki and Familysearch Family Tree. Familysearch is a resource commonly used by beginning and advanced family historians.
The seminar runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church, 925 N. Sequim Ave. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
Registration is $45 at the door.
Heritage Quest will bring a selection of books and genealogical materials for attendees to examine and purchase.
