Clallam County School Retirees’ Association awards mini-grants

PORT ANGELES — The Clallam County School Retirees’ Association recently announced the award of the Isabel Whitfield/Eleanor & Donald Naddy Teacher/Classroom Mini-Grants for the 2019-20 school year.

The association awarded 12 teachers a total of $4,339.

Awardees are:

• Dry Creek Elementary

Mickey Branham, STEM enrichment, $404.90

Christine Stockton, public library field trips, $250.00

• Port Angeles School District

Mary O’Kief, Young Writer’s Conference, $500.00

• Port Angeles High School

Bernie Brabant, FBLA Leadership Conference, $500.00

• Jefferson Elementary

Raena Young, classroom books, $425.00

• Stevens Middle School

Dan Lieberman, American Red Cross certifications for students, $110.00

Dan Lieberman, community service projects, $200.00

• Sequim Middle School

Susan Dwyer, cameras, $310.00

• Sequim High School

Anita Benitez, La Cina Club, $250.00

• Sequim School District

Amy Young-Stoeckl, Getting Graphic, $479.34

• Helen Haller Elementary

Robin Forrest, published books, $500.00

• Forks Middle and Elementary
