Sekiu man arrested after vehicle strikes house near Port Angeles

Beryl W. Richmond, 45, of Sekiu was being held in the Clallam County jail Sunday on a proposed $10,000 bail for investigation of driving under the influence after allegedly driving his Volvo at about 7:30 a.m. Friday into a home, in which the occupants were sleeping, at 33 S. Brook Ave. east of Port Angeles.

No injuries were reported, Sheriff’s Sgt. John Hollis said.
