Olympic Medical Center honors human resources analyst

PORT ANGELES — Olympic Medical Center CEO Eric Lewis honored Melissa Swift at a recent board of commissioners meeting.

Swift is a human resources business analyst. Swift began her career at Olympic Medical Center (OMC) in 2010 as a clinical informatics specialist.

“Swift has been responsible for automating a number of processes in human resources, making the department more efficient and better able to serve OMC’s staff and managers,” said Jennifer Burkhardt, chief human resources officer.

According to a press release, while improving information systems, Swift demonstrated such value and diligence that she was promoted from HR generalist to HR business systems analyst, a new position at OMC.
