Olympic Community of Health hires new executive director

POULSBO — Olympic Community of Health has announced the hiring of Celeste Schoenthaler as executive director.

According to a press release, Schoenthaler most recently worked in human resources for King County.

She replaces Dr. Elya Prystowski, who has been the executive director since March 2016.

The organization is one of nine Accountable Communities of Health in the state. It serves Jefferson, Clallam and Kitsap counties.

Its purpose is to facilitate the transformation of health care delivery and improve community health across the region.

Its board of directors consists of leaders from the public health sectors and tribal nations.
