PORT ANGELES — Two accounting employees and three plant operations employees received honors at a recent Olympic Medical Center board of commissioners meeting.

CEO Eric Lewis presented awards to Teresa Hoover, accounting assistant; Lauren McElwain, financial analyst; Andrea MacFeat, administrative assistant, plant operations; Jason Francis, supervisor, plant operations; and Rob Gale, construction carpenter.

“Each of these employees not only excel at their work, they enthusiastically take on additional projects and challenges,” said Darryl Wolfe, chief financial officer.

Area business center adds two teachers

SEQUIM — Via Vita at 128 W. Bell St. recently added two new yoga teachers to its wellness center.

Beginning level yoga classes are scheduled Wednesdays and Fridays from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.

A level 1 yoga class follows from at 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays.

There will also a level 1 yoga class from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturdays.
