New owners at Sequim brokerage

Daniel Erickson, founder of Town & Country, announced last week the sale of the Sequim real estate brokerage to Fathom Realty, based out of Cary, N.C.

A publicly traded company, Fathom Realty paid an undisclosed amount of cash and stock in the sale, Erickson said.

Town & Country was established in 2002 and located at 305 S. Sequim Ave.

A total of 13 brokers and employees have joined the new company, Erickson said.

He said he plans to remain in service for his clients for several years to come.

“We are very excited,” Erickson said. “It was time to consider our exit strategy and finding Fathom Realty was the perfect solution. It’s a great combo of local people and a local brand joining forces.

“We operate in a world of technology and independent firms struggle to afford the tools of the trade.”
