PORT ANGELES – Vickie Becker, program director of Olympic Community Action Programs’ Early Childhood Services, recently cut a ribbon to celebrate the opening of Head Start at 2203 W. 18th St.

Port Angeles business joins market

PORT ANGELES — Laurel Hargis recently joined the Port Angeles Farmers Market with her start-up business, My Oh My Pie!

Hargis specializes in handmade fruit pies, galettes and hand pies using fruits grown on local farms and has won numerous awards for her pies in California and Port Angeles, according to a news release.
