PORT ANGELES — Ryan French, director of Jim’s Pharmacy & Home Health, recently received the 2016 Ambassador Award from Brightree LLC.
The award is given to an individual with the greatest involvement and contributions to the Brightree Online Community.
French’s contributions to the Brightree Community include quality-of-life improvements in software design, answering questions, troubleshooting problems, providing best-practice recommendations and gathering information from other companies.
Brightree is the electronic health records and billing vendor used by Jim’s Pharmacy to manage its Home Medical Equipment Department.
Vet clinic partners with nonprofit site
PORT HADLOCK — Hadlock Veterinary Clinic has partnered with Pets of the Homeless to be a donation site for the nonprofit.
Donations of pet food and supplies can be taken to the clinic, located at 842 Ness Corner Road, to be delivered to local food banks, homeless shelters or homeless encampments.
According to a news release: “It is estimated that one in four homeless and disadvantaged people have a pet.
“Pets of the homeless do not choose their guardians.
“A difference can be made to aid these pets.”
The clinic accepts donations throughout the year.
