SEQUIM — “Harvey,” the Pulitzer Prize-winning play marking its 70th anniversary this year, is about to open at Olympic Theatre Arts, 414 N. Sequim Ave., this weekend, so one preview performance is slated for tonight (Thursday.evening).

Curtain time for this story of Elwood Dowd (David McInnes) and his invisible friend Harvey — a 6-foot-tall white rabbit — is 7:30 p.m., with admission free for OTA members and $10 for non-members.

After “Harvey” opens Friday, tickets will be $16 for adults, $14 for active-duty military and spouses, and $10 for children 16 and younger.

There’s one exception, though: the 7:30 p.m. show Thursday, Nov. 13, will be pay-what-you-can, first-come, first-seated.

Otherwise, “Harvey” takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays through Nov. 23.

For more about the play, see the Peninsula Spotlight section in this Friday’s Peninsula Daily News, visit www.OlympicTheatreArts.org or phone the theater office at 360-683-7326.
