PORT ANGELES — Studio Bob, the event space and gallery upstairs at 118½ E. Front St., is about to hold its 15th biannual Bring Your Own Art show Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 10-11, so the call is out now to would-be participants.

Bring Your Own Art is for people of all ages and experience levels: professionals, students, first-timers and others nervous about never having shown their creations, said Studio Bob owner Bob Stokes.

This is a chance to show something you or a family member has done in a supportive environment, he added.

The entry fee is $5 per piece, and each artist may enter up to three works.

Artists may also choose to put their creations up for sale, and Stokes charges no commission if any is purchased.

Participants must drop off their art at Studio Bob between noon and 7 p.m. next Friday, Jan. 9, along with tags telling the artist’s name, title of the piece, contact information and a bit about the art and its maker.

The price should also be attached if the work is for sale.

The Bring Your Own Art show will open with a reception from 5 p.m. till 8 p.m. Saturday at Studio Bob, where the adjacent Loom bar will be open with beverages and snacks.

The show will open again from noon till 3 p.m. Sunday.
