School retirees association names mini-grant recipients

PORT ANGELES — The Clallam County School Retirees Association has announced the award of its 2021-2022 Isabel Whitfield/Eleanor and Donald Naddy mini-grants.

The association awarded a total of $5,425.67 to 10 Clallam County teachers.

The recipients are:

• Dan Lieberman, Stevens Middle School, audio and printing equipment, $960.

• Lambert Grimes, Dry Creek Elementary School, 3-D printer, $542.90.

• Nathan Shields, Crescent School District, stone carving, $500.

• Robin Forrest, Helen Haller Elementary, published book “Storyjumper”, $500.

• Lambert Grimes, Dry Creek Elementary School, 3-D printing supplies, $422.77.

• Dan Lieberman, Stevens Middle School, native art curtains, $500.

• Hannah Reed, Stevens Middle School, marching band equipment, $500.

• Patricia Donovan Hopkins, Dry Creek Elementary, Having Fun Catching Up, $500.

• Crystal Bennett, Port Angeles High School, The Magic of Reading, $500.

• Raena Young, Jefferson Elementary School, Project Get Outside!, $500.
