The Canadian Coast Guard hovercraft Siyay, at right, zooms into Port Angeles Harbor as part of the U.S. Coast Guard-sponsored exercise, Pacific Unity 2009, during last week.

Canadian, Japanese, U.S. and Russian ships practiced joint operations involving security missions, search and rescue, aids to navigation and law enforcement during the three-day event off Port Angeles.
