McLinn sinks his sixth career hole-in-one

SEQUIM — Jack McLinn, a Sequim golfer and member of The Cedars at Dungeness Golf Course, recently recorded his sixth career hole-in-one.

Playing from the copper tees, McLinn drained his shot on No. 8 from 128 yards out using his 7-iron and a Titleist DT Solo golf ball during Cedars’ weekly Men’s Club competition on Feb. 19.

The ace was McLinn’s third at The Cedars at Dungeness. Witnesses were Bill Blacketer and Mike Buckland.

Borchers’ second ace

SEQUIM — Port Angeles’ Andy Borchers carded his second career hole-in-one while playing The Cedars at Dungeness on Feb. 22.

Borchers holed out from the copper tees on the 128-yard fourth hole using his 9-iron and a TaylorMade Tp5X golf ball.

The shot was witnessed by Kevin Grau, Ted Perkins and Mimi Shin.

Espiru cards first

SEQUIM — Sequim’s Ronald Espiru aced his first hole-in-one while playing The Cedars at Dungeness on March 18.

Espiru holed out from 110 yards on the par-3 eighth hole using his 9-iron and Callaway Chrome golf ball.
