Students to present Tales, Text and Theater showcase

PORT TOWNSEND — Sixth-graders from Blue Heron Middle School will present the Tales Text and Theater Student Showcase at 1 p.m. May 3.

The presentation is in Fort Worden’s Wheeler Theater, 25 Eisenhower Ave.

During the weeklong Tales Text and Theater program, students work with contemporary artists in a variety of disciplines and get an in-depth concentration on a genre of their choice.

At the end of the week, the students share their creative experiments with the community in the student showcase performance.
