Portion of ODT reopened

PORT ANGELES — A portion of the Olympic Discovery Trail between 18th Street and Lower Elwha Road that was closed during a repair of a water main has been reopened, according to a press release from the city of Port Angeles.

The trail had been closed while repairs were being performed on the city’s 24-inch water transmission line, which is the connection between the city’s water treatment facility and its reservoirs.
