Speaker series talks Asian clams

PORT ANGELES — David Cowles will present “Dealing with Asian Clams, a New Aquatic Invader on the Olympic Peninsula” at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The free Zoom presentation will finish up Olympic National Park’s Perspectives winter speaker series, hosted by the North Olympic Library System.

Cowles and a team of students from Walla Walla University have been studying the spread of Asian clams in Lake Ozette and Lake Crescent.
