Sunland homeowners award scholarships to Sequim students

SEQUIM — The Sunland Homeowners Association recently awarded three $4,000 scholarships to Sequim students.

The recipients are:

Melanie Byrne, who plans to attend Peninsula College’s Welding Certification Program.

Ruby Romano, who plans to major in business at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho.

Hannah Hampton, who plans to attend the pre-med program at the University of Washington in Seattle.
