Bridge closures set for Friday and Saturday

SHINE — The Hood Canal Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic intermittently from 10 p.m. Friday though 12:01 a.m. Saturday.

The bridge will repeatedly open and close approximately every 30 minutes, according to a state Department of Transportation press release.

The closures will allow maintenance crews to conduct annual training related to winter storms.
