Hospice offers orientation for new volunteers

Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County will conduct both an online orientation session and an in-person session for potential volunteers this week.

The online session will stream on the Zoom internet meeting platform from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday.

Participants will need a computer with a camera, microphone and speakers; a tablet; or a smartphone.

The in-person session will be offered from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday in Port Angeles.

Participants in Friday’s session must wear a mask and maintain social distancing.

Interested participants must register by calling 360-452-1511 by noon on the day prior to the session they want to attend.

The hospice organization has a variety of volunteer opportunities available, including equipment delivery drivers and helpers.
