New turn lane to be installed on Highway 101

SEQUIM — State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will install a left turn lane on U.S. Highway 101 at Louella Road overnight Tuesday and Wednesday.

Drivers can expect alternating single-lane traffic between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. each night.

The intersection, east of Sequim, has been the site of several collisions, including a fatal wreck in February.
