Retiring Port Angeles School District staff members honored

PORT ANGELES — Six teachers, four para-educators and five other staff members from the Port Angeles School District were feted at a retirement dinner held June 12 at the Chestnut Cottage.
According to a press release, the 15 retirees, collectively, have served Port Angeles students for 321 years.
The retirees include:
• Teachers: Judy Clayton, Geoffrey Cobb, Joseph Glatz, Cynthia Green, Cookie Kalfur and Kathleen Miller.
• Para-educators: Kathy Daugaard, Fred Gapper, Warren Horsley and LoAnn Linn.
• Secretaries: Susan Helkey and Mary Kay McCabe.
• Network Technicians: Stephen Pazan and Garry Thompson.
• Dean of Students: Debra Pavlich-Boaz.
