Fiona Graham holds a red rock crab that she thought was dead until it moved its legs, indicating that it was very much alive.

The teen was with Chloe Partsch, center, and Danielle Snyder on Saturday.

They were part of about 18 students from Olympic High School in Silverdale participating in an Adventure Club beach cleanup day at Fort Worden State Park in Port Townsend.

Fiona deposited the crab back where she found it.
