PORT ANGELES — What’s next for Port Angeles boosters?

“We started talking about this as we did better and better in the contest” by Outside magazine for the “Best Town Ever” for 2015, said Leslie Robertson, founder of Revitalize Port Angeles.

Members of Revitalize Port Angeles and other groups want to channel the town spirit evoked by the competition and keep the momentum going.

“Everyone seems to feel that this is just the beginning,” Robertson said.

Among ideas that have been pitched are creating a Facebook page devoted entirely to the beauties of the outdoors cradling Port Angeles.

“We live in one of the amazing places in the world, and we need to celebrate that,” Robertson said.
