The Port Angeles and Sequim UPS stores are participating in “Operation: SWAK” (Sealed with a Kiss), an initiative to provide free first-class postage for 1-ounce valentines and letters sent to U.S. military personnel stationed overseas or to veterans in VA hospitals.

Stores are located at 1400 W. Washington St., Suite 104, in Sequim and 136 E. Eight St. in Port Angeles.

Now through Feb. 14, the two stores will provide complimentary delivery of Valentine’s Day greetings to U.S. troops and veterans.

Eligible mail must be addressed to a specific U.S. serviceman or servicewoman at an assigned APO/FPO address, or to a specific veteran residing in a VA hospital.

Mail must include a valid return address.

Lisa Hollenback, The UPS Store franchisee, recommends people send their greetings by Feb. 5 for overseas delivery by Valentine’s Day.

UPS store hours for the Sequim and Port Angeles locations are Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sundays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sequim store only.
