PORT ANGELES — The Department of Labor & Industries is offering a workshop to inform employers about OSHA 300 requirements, called OSHA 300 record keeping.
The workshop will be held at the Labor & Industries office, 1605 E. Front St., Suite C, from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday, Jan. 15.
Register in advance by calling 800-574-2859 or visiting www.lni.wa.gov. Reference course number 3-88-0108.
This workshop explains the recordkeeping requirements of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and WISHA (Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act).
This training also is available to employers who want the workshop at their place of business. For more information, phone 800-574-2859.
Applications sought
PORT TOWNSEND — The Port Townsend Rotary Club is accepting applications for its annual distribution of charitable funds to nonprofit organizations in Jefferson County.
Applications and guidelines can be downloaded from the club website at www.porttownsendrotary.org.
All requests must be submitted by March 31. Recipients will be announced shortly after the due date.
Among the past recipients have been the Boiler Room, Community Chorus, Jefferson County Food Bank, ECCHO, Critter Coop 4-H Club, Gathering Place, Port Townsend Summer Band and the Quilcene Historical Museum.
