“Tonight” signifies Friday, Nov. 21.

PORT TOWNSEND — The Olympic Peninsula Dance Club will present Robin Bessier and her new band Sollati’ in their debut performance tonight.

The dance at the Port Townsend Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St., will begin at 8 p.m., preceded by cha-cha dance workshop with Janice Eklund at 7 p.m.

Admission will be $10 at the door and includes the dance lesson.

All ages are welcome, and no partner or registration is necessary.

Sollati’ — pronounced Soul-la-TEA — is composed of Bessier on vocals, Kurt Festinger on saxophone, clarinet and flute, George Radebaugh on piano, Ted Enderle on bass and Kurt Bishcoff on drums.

“Sollati’s repertoire has been customized specifically to create a perfect mix of dance tunes,” Bessier said.

“From East Coast swing to night club two-step, foxtrot to cha-cha, waltz to salsa, to an occasional tango thrown in the mix, Sollati’ will get you up on the dance floor and keep your feet happy all night long,” she added.

The mission of the Olympic Peninsula Dance Club is to promote partner dancing on the Olympic Peninsula. Dances are held monthly.
