BUSINESS BRIEFS — Business planning workshop for farmers, fishermen set Saturday in Chimacum . . . and other items

CHIMACUM — WSU Jefferson and Clallam County Extension and Washington Sea Grant will co-sponsor an educational financial planning workshop for both commercial farmers and fishermen who operate on or out of the North Olympic Peninsula.

The workshop is at the Chimacum Grange, 9572 Rhody Drive, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

It is part of the 10-week Cultivating Success Agricultural Entrepreneurship & Farm Business Planning series.

This program is designed for farmers and fishermen who want to learn more about how to finance a business operation or expand an existing operation.

Attendees should bring laptops with Microsoft Excel.

Admission is $25 per operation.

Dockside hours

SEQUIM — The Dockside Grill, 2577 W. Sequim Bay Road, will remain open for lunch and dinner through winter.

Hours for lunch are 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dinner is from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Appetizers are available between lunch and dinner.

Happy is hour is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
