PORT ANGELES — A caregivers meeting for those who take care of a loved one with Parkinson’s disease or other neurological conditions will be held at coordinator Darlene Jones’ home, 2323 E. Sixth Ave. in Gales Addition, from 10:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday.
Caregivers can ask questions and get support from those experienced with taking care of a loved one with Parkinson’s.
Coffee will be provided.

On Wednesday, June 25, a Parkinson’s support group will meet upstairs in the craft room at the Port Angeles Senior Center, 328 E. Seventh St., from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
This meeting is for anyone who has an interest in Parkinson’s.
Other upcoming Parkinson’s-related events and meetings in July are:
■ July 11: Dance with Parkinson’s, Sons of Norway Hall, 131 W. Fifth St., 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
■ July 16: Caregivers group, Jones’ home, 10:30 a.m.
■ July 23, Parkinson’s support group, senior center, 10:30 a.m. to noon.
Salad dressings
SEQUIM — The last Sequim Library Food for Thought program series will feature certified raw-food chef and instructor Pamela Ziemann at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Ziemann will discuss do-it-yourself salad dressings at the library, located at 630 N. Sequim Ave.
She will demonstrate a raw, vegan ranch dressing as well as a kid-friendly dressing made in one minute without a blender.
The event is free, and pre-registration is not required.
