How cold has it been on the North Olympic Peninsula?
Longtime Peninsula Daily News contributing photographer Dave Logan took this photo Saturday morning of Madison Falls in Olympic National Park virtually frozen in time.
That’s Jared Higbee of Joyce also taking a photo of the icy cascade.
Madison Falls is in the Elwha Valley just inside the gate to Olympic National Park, in case you want to see for yourself.
But hurry: Warmer temperatures are accompanying expected rainfall by Sunday night, meaning that much of the ice will become water into the Elwha River soon.
